The Bond Street Gin experiences

All experiences take place at the Bond Street Distillery in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
There is a local train station (15 Mins walk) or if driving, the Distillery is situated 10 mins from the M69 (Junction 1). Limited onsite parking is available and there is plenty of parking nearby. Find Us.

The Distillery is housed in a late 18th Century hosiery factory in this historical industrial town, situated only 7 miles from Bosworth Battlefield. This beautiful old industrial building has been lovingly renovated and transformed into a ‘gintimate’ space for the production of gin.

The Bond Street Distillery Tour Gin School Experience

This intimate experience starts with a meet and greet on arrival with one of our team. During the which you will meet the other trainee distillers (maximum sixteen per school) joining you on the course.

Your host will give you an introduction to the building and the Distillery’s history as you enjoy your first gin & tonic, before taking you into our working Distillery to giving you an insight into the distillation process and a photo opportunity in front of the Bond Street still ‘Claire’.

You will then make your way upstairs to Bond Streets Gin school, to get down to the serious business of making your very own gin.

Everything at Bond Street is hands on: First you will learn about some of the key botanicals used in gin distillation to inspire and educate you to understand, why? how? and what? you could use to infuse and blend your personal recipe. You can choose from over 60 botanicals, before taking to the still to begin the innovative and creative process of combining the right balance of flavour combinations. The Bond Street Gin school really is conception to the realisation of crafting your very own bespoke gin. During the experience you will be given complimentary gin & tonics from our extensive award-winning range.

After distilling your exclusive gin, you will label and bottle, ready to take home for your friends and family to try. You will even record your recipe on our database and will then be able to order further bottles of your unique blend should you so wish.

The experince lasts for approximately 3 and half hours (depending on group size) and can be enhanced with the optional extra of an afternoon tea.

Bond Street Distillery Tour & Gin Tasting Experience

This fun and informative experience starts with a meet and greet on arrival with one of our team and of course a Gin and tonic . You will then enter the working distillery where Bond Street Gin is produced, you will learn about Bond Streets unique history, our passion and meticulous attention to detail when hand crafting our gins.

After our talk its on to the serious business of Tasting Gin. After a blind tasting from our diverse range of gins you will talk through what you have tasted, perfect servings and the importance of your mixer and garnish. You will then be offered a gin & tonic of your choice from our extensive award-winning range.

The tour and tasting takes approximately an 1 and a half hours and is a must for gin lovers and those with an interest in distilling.

    • Requests made 24hrs prior to the reservation may not always be responded to. If you do not receive a  confirmation email then please feel free to try on the night but we may not be able to cater for you. We will always endeavour to respond.

    • For groups of ten or more we have a private/exclusive area this comes with host service. This room is available at £25.00 per night. To reserve this space or check availability please call 01455 459181

    • For special requests or availability please call 01455 459181 between 10am and 5pm weekdays and we will do our best to help.

    • Friday and Saturday evenings are our busiest evenings and it is not always possible to seat guests though we will always try. It is always preferable to reserve a table to avoid disappointment.

    • If you are given a reservation you will have fifteen minutes to take up the table. If you do not arrive at that time we cannot guarantee to honour the booking and reserve the right to give the table to a waiting party.

      Please be aware that this form should not be used to communicate with us in regard to bookings for gin schools or bar table bookings. Be advised responses may take up to 72hrs.
